TIG II - 2003

Not long after the Trooper Indonesia Gathering (TIG)-I and still in the same year, KTI held the TIG-II on 16-18 August 2003 where this time the event took place in the 'Kawah Putih' (White Crater), Ciwidey, Bandung. Given the success of TIG-I in last March 2003, this time the TIG-II was held by taking a moment on the Indonesian Independence Day. So, beside a family gathering, this event was also to celebrate the Independence Day by the flag-raising ceremony at edge of the crater.

This time TIG-II was attended by more than 60 people, with the details as follows:

Day-1: 16 August 2003

The participants gathered at the 'Boboko' restaurent located at the end of Cikampek freeway. After coordination, the journey continues with route Cikampek-Purwakarta-Padalarang-Batujajar-Sorean-Ciwidey-Cimangu. After check-in at the 'Mandiri' hotel and made a coordination meeting, the trip continued with a tour in 'Situ Patengan' lake and enjoy the natural scenery of tea plantations which are so beautiful and magnificent.

The event then continued by games and also a tour at the 'Kawah Putih', light off-road through the tea gardens, and free session in the afternoon. This is the last day of TIG-II before all participants returned to Jakarta on the next day.

Day-3: August 18, 2003

All participants returned to Jakarta through Bandung, passing Puncrut / North Dago, and down through the route-Ciater Lembang-Wanayasa-Purwakarta-Cikampek-Jakarta. Some participants stopped and had some rest at the lake Wanayasa, and then moved on and regroupped for the last time at Cikampek freeway rest area before we split.
There is nothing more than the beauty of the togetherness and the 'Family Spirit'.
