Kopdar Jaya, 4 September 2010

After a while havent had Kopdar, this time Jakarta Chapter (KTI Jaya) held a gathering on last Saturday, September 4th, 2010 and took place in the parking lot area of Kalibata Heroes Cemetery, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. Having previously thought to move the location of the Kopdar to a new location near one of a private Television station in Mampang area, finally it has been decided to remain at Kalibata location. With the theme of "Kopdar Ngabuburit" (Ngabuburit means, waiting for breaking the fast), this Kopdar use the afternoon time to let the KTI members to break their fasting while gathering. This is because, in the meantime our Moslems colleague were having their Religous fasting moment during Ramadhan.

This time the main goal of this Kopdar was to keep the communication between our KTI Jaya colleagues remains in a good shape, particulary since we have some new colleauges that recently joined KTI who so far haven't had time to meet directly with the other KTI members. Warm and nice atmosphere which is typical of KTI was very noticeable when participants gathered together for just chatting and exchanging information bout many things. It was realy nice to know new faces in the community that may have been able to communicate via email, can now share the joy in the warmthness among the Trooper Indonesia Community family. There were not less than 30 vehicles attended this event, both Troopers and Non-Troopers, and it was unexpectable condition for us where all these cars had densely filled the area.

Some new colleagues who attended this Kopdar include Nur Amin, James T. Kaunang, Jon Erwin, Ratih Aestetika, One Darmawan, Dewangga and some others who actually have joined KTI long time ago but then appeared again in this Kopdar such as Bayu Amijaya and the former leader of Bandung Chapter, Derry. This Kopdar is planning to be held in routine, in the future, like when the Kopdar was firstly held in 2002. Back then, Kodar was held on every Sunday every 2nd and 4th week every month. But then, since other events were actively held by KTI, this Kopdar is planning to be scheduled for once every month so at least our KTI Jaya members could  have still stay in touch and keep the coummunication among each other in regular basis.

Banjarnegara Chapter Inauguration, 14-17 August 2010

In accordance with the plan which has been prepared in advance, on August 17th, 2010 ago, Banjarnegara has officially become part of the Indonesia Trooper Community (KTI) through the inaugural event which was attended by several members of KTI from Jakarta, Surabaya, Cilegon, Palembang, Semarang and Yogyakarta. Led by our colleague Setiawan Budhiarto, or often called as Iwan Mortar, Banjarnegara has listed in the long list of KTI's chapters which is recently celebrating the 8th Anniversary since founded in 2002.

Most participant coming from West region (Jakarta, Cilegon and Palembang started the journey on August 14th 2010, in groups towards Banjarnegara. Saturday afternoon the groups reached Banjarnegara then received and welcomed by Chandradimuka team, an offroad communitty, to immediately led the group and continue moving towards Dieng Plateau for touring and enjoying the magnificent natural scenery with other interesting sights. The journey passing the north of Dieng, Karang Kobar, who served participants with fairly steep hill. Though, it presented a very beautiful scenery. At the location, the group spent about three hours for a trip to an ancient temple Arjuna and then gathered in the open field for some pictures taking, then flying the KTI banner using an remote control plane owned by Mr. Agun. Unfortunately, due to some weight problem they failed to fly it.

After enjoying the great scenery of Dieng Plateu, the group then moved to Kampun Serayu Inn. Kampung Serayu is a very interesting place, in addition to some rooms provided for living in with capacity up to 8 persons for each room, this place also offers a Rafting tour. Some participants who took the room, unpacked their luggage where the other who prefer to camp, set up their tents at the camping ground. Today's agenda was closed with the variety of Banjarnegara's typical cuisine such as dawet, tempe mendoan and empal.

On the next morning, all participants did some 'Country Road' trip around Banjarnegara. Together, the groups was led to Mount of Love through a smooth asphalt road and then go deeper into the Damar forest. The location is very interesting with a steep slope with rocky cliffs on the left and right side, enough to make the heart trembling. Through a passage which seemed ontouched by visitor and vehicles, the group finally came to the muddy road for approximately 5 km. Beautiful scenery made this off-road journey was joyfull. Sometime they were also need to pull the other participants due to very steep and long  cliff which made their vehicle incapable to climb.

Upon returning from the 'Country Road', some participants did not waste the opportunity to do the rafting. Using three rafting boat with Ragung, Firman Alfa, Iwan Mortar, Ryco, Abitani, Kusuma and several of their family members, the rafting adventure began and under shower rain in the beautiful afternoon. 9 km along the route were completed within approximately two hours, filled with great excitement and joy. The children who participated in thisjourney really enjoyed the ride with happiness. Upon returning from this trip, all participants broke the fast together and then engaged in preparing the main event, the Inaugural of the Banjarnegara Chapter.

The top event was marked by the wearing of the KTI Official Uniform and delivery of our pride KTI stickers to the leader of Banjarnegara Chapter, Iwan Mortar. The even then continued with some introductions among all the members who present on the event, and continue with accompany of local singers to enlight the evening. Several colleagues who have musical talents, including Iwan Mortar himself, present some songs through the whole night.

On Monday, August 16th, according to the agenda as prepared by the event committee, the event continuted with the workshop to discuss the work program and also with internal discussion. After completing the workshop, participant then move to one orphanage to deliver some social contributions and donation from the kindness of KTI members. That day is the last day of the event and the closing of the extraordinary and historical events for our colleauges in Banjarnegara Chapter.

Congratulation to Banjarnegara Chapter! May the spirit of our togetherness, bonding and brotherhood may always be the basic strength of our community, and can always be maintained and spread to all people in Indonesia.

KOPDAR Anyer, 24-25 July 2010

As a continuation of the Kopdar Roadshow held by KTI Jaya Chapter during 2010, the next Kopdar event was hel on 24-25 July 2010 in Anyer, West Java. Acting as the hosts are the Prasodjo's family from Cilegon Chapter. By taking place in 'Kelapa Gading' Camping Ground, this Kopdar was attended by more than 50 vehicles consisting of about 40 Troopers and some other vehicles, and filled with lots of interesting events such as games, a local traditional culture called 'Debus' from Banten, music and singing performance from the members, and a warm and friendly gathering.

This 'Kelapa Gading' camping ground is located about 3 km away from Marbela Hotel Anyer towards Labuan, and located exactly beside the beach. With a convenient location and large enough to accommodate more than 50 vehicles, the location is filled with shady palm trees with very cool and comfortable atmoshphere. Unfortunately, the beach conditions are rocky with lots of corals so we could not swim. However, during morning until afternoon when the water receded, there was open area where the children can still play and having fun.

The event started on Saturday at around 4 pm, where most of the participant had arrived at the location. Opening ceremony with pray led by Mr. Tono and continued with self introduction from all participants with Widodo as MC. There were also some new members where this event was their first time to be together with us, such as pak Agun, pak Rizal, and also Rohim. After that, our colleagues from 'Kudoz' who had accompanied KTI at some similar events, started the day with fun games for the children and the families. Break the ballon, mummy contest and ball handling with forehad were some of the games presented during this time. Jokes and laughter throughout the show were lasted until the games ended.

At night we had dinner at around 19.00 with seafood dishes prepared by all the ladies of KTI family members together with the event committee. All dishes materials were prepared by Pak Imam Prasodjo and wife in an extraordinary effort, in order to provide special seafood dishes for dinner. Grilled fish, grilled squid, shrimp skewers, grilled chicken, tempe mendoan, and other magnificent and delicious dishes from Palembang, empek-empek which brought by our colleagues from Sriwijaya, Ian Djauhary.

After dinner, the next event was local traditional attraction called 'Debus Banten'. Since this attraction showed some mystical performance where unsuitable for kids, therefore in the same time our colleagues presented a 'Magic show' for the children in different spot. Debus attraction was not the only agenda for that day and the event continued with 'Jam Session' and 'Sing Together' performance until midnight. Here, our talented colleagues showed their capabilities in singing such as Pak Zul, Pak Budha, Pak Imam and wife, even Iwan Mortar from Banjarnegara presented a guitar-harmonica blues songs. What an extraordinary talents of KTI...

Sunday morning was started by having breakfast together and preparation for going back home. After packing and tidying up, the event continued with another family games which include all the participants. This was a very happy moment for us where it provided a more festive atmosphere with more laughter. Breaking the balloons and octopus games became the favorites games at that day.

So many memories and stories in this Kopdar where filled with the spirit of enthusiasm from all participants. Once again this Big Family of Indonesia Trooper Community has demonstrated a strong brotherhood and bond among its members, and hopefully this bond will be remain for the rest of our life.

Photography Hunting

"Unity in variety"...it's an expression which is worthy to be given for Indonesia Trooper Community who recently held a photography event for the member live in 'Jabodetabek' area (Jakarta - Bogor - Depok - Tangerang - Bekasi - Cilegon). Not only automotive, but also other hobbies are accommodated by this community in a brotherhood spirit. Taken place in one of the KTI member's photography studio, Frans Hambali, in Kebayoran district in South Jakarta, this activity attracted other colleagues who have the same photography passion. Moreover, this opportunity was also used for knowledge sharing by our KTI fellow from Mataram  Harbanu "BigDoc" Hermawan Mariyono, who were able to visit Jakarta that time.

This event was held on Saturday, 3 July 2010 ago where all participant were gathered in Frans Hambali's studio for an indoor photography session. Luckily there were 3 models during this session so our colleagues could expressed their skill in modelling photography. BigDoc also shared some techniques during this session which are commonly known in modelling photography. All participants were very enthusiastic and express their creativity in this session.

In the afternoon, the session moved to outdoor area in Kebayoran Park and still with the same models. Unfortunately since it was getting dark, the session last in a short time. Some participant ended the session in this location, but some others continued to have night photography session in the Old Town area in North Jakarta. With some architectural composition of old buildings in the area where most of them are Dutch heritage, complete with lights effect, the session gave enough strong classical effect during the time. The event ended up here.

Winch Ownership Program from KTI

Innovation is without limit, moreover when it provides an advantage for many people. Even though it is not in a form of a technology or something new, an simple idea might  be called "An Innovation". Indonesia Trooper Community (KTI) recently launched an innovative program which was a Member Winch Ownership program for its members through a soft loan facility. Though it is not a big deal, but what made it spectacular was that this program gave us a 25% discount for cash or credit.

Promoted and coordinated by one of KTI's members, Tansri Buana and Ryco Arnaldo, who were able to include one of the well known winch producers in off-road world, T-Max, this winch ownership program started about 2 months ago and very well welcome by all KTI members in Indonesia. This program was also open for other winch brands such as Superwinch and WARN, and exclusive for the member of Indonesia Trooper Community. However, the 25% special discount program only applies for T-Max brand and Superwinch.

Beside giving the soft loans with 12 months installments and 0% interest, another magnificent thing was the opportunity given to the first 25 people who choose the T-Max EW-9500 series to get free upgrade to EW-11000 series who has higher specification. In 1 month, this opportunity were all been taken away by KTI members who participate in this program.

Trooper Indonesia Coaching Clinic 2010

From 19 to 20 June 2010, Indonesia Trooper Community once again organized an event which was proposed to provide a training for its members, namely 'Trooper Indonesia Caching Clininc 2010' with the topic of 'OFF-ROAD BASIC TECHNIQUES'. This time KTI Jaya acts as the event organizer where the event was attended by more than 50 participants, including some colleagues from Yogyakarta, Banjarnegara and Palembang. The event consists of two main sessions, the 1st session was classroom session, and the 2nd sessions was field training. Acting as the Training Instructor was Mr. Syamsir Alam, one of Indonesia's National off-roader, who also serves as a board member in Indonesia Off-road Federation (IOF).

The preparation had been done and started long time ago by forming an event committee which consisted of Widodo as the Chairman, Abitani who responsible in Fund, Ryco and Ragung who responsible in equipment, and Yudhi as registration coordinator. Initially the committee had some trouble finding the ideal place for the classroom but at last they finally managed to get a good place that could accommodate the estimated amount of participants who were expected as many as 50 people, and they got a nice comfortable place in Cilandak Apartment & Sport Center, South Jakarta. While the field training sessions were decided to be held in 'Bukit 4x4' Pondok Cabe area, Tangerang. The reason to choose Pondok Cabe for the field training location was, that there is many variation which is suitable with the training materials that were given during the calssroom session.

Day-1: 19 June 2010

The 1st day of training started at exactly 9:00 am and was openned by Kusumawardhana as the Chairman of Indonesia Trooper Community. The materials were provided and presented by Mr. Syamsir Alam which included the preparation of Off-road vehicles, Safety Driving techniques, and off-road driving techniques. Mr. Syamsir has a long and lots of International and National off-road experiences and willing to share his knowledge with us, not only to the extent of what was contained in the training material, but also based on his own experiences in the field during this time as off-roader. Good technic in dealing with forest, sand while driving, and sharing about GPS technology and application in off-road activities, were part of his training material. What the most impressive was, his sharing about how to overcome obstacles without compromising our vehicles. It was a very valuable lesson and very usefull for most of participant who were mostly beginners. This session was closed at 16:00 pm by having pictures together.

Day-2: 20 June 2010

As a continuation of the classroom sessions delivered on the day before, the 2nd session was conducted at 'Bukit 4x4' Pondok Cabe as a field session to show all participants about the basic of off road techniques and how to perform vehicle recovery as well as directing the vehicle for off-road. Winching technique for both the drivers and navigators, including some techniques for giving directions to the drivers were shown and demonstrated directly by Mr. Syamsir. Reversing when the vehicle stops during climbing and how to use a 'high lift jack', were also part of the knowledge as well.

This 2nd session experienced an unusual poblem, a weather problem. Not long after the event started, a very strong wind blew and lifted the tarpaulin tent up that caused some joints of the framework, unlatched. Because of this problem where can endanger the participants, they spontaneously overcame the problems by using the winch and straps to hold the framework so it would not unlatch due to the strong winds.

The sessions was ended by Mr. Syamsir at lunch break and the next event was the practice by entering the field area. This was led by Alex Supri acting as the tour leader and coordinated by Widodo as sweeper. For the first-timer, it was a truly memorable experience. They were able to practice what they had learnt before in theory and practice what they got in the track.

From this Coaching Clinic event, participants will receive a certificate issued by KTI and signed by the President of IOF, Mr. Djoko Pramono. Therefore, the participant will be officially certified by IOF in Basic Off-road & Techniques. Congratulations to all our colleagues who have successfully completed this training, and also to Mawan and Suharmen who won the voucher from Tamasya Magazine to stay overnight in Bali.

Cycling Day at Ragunan Zoo, 6 June 2010

On Sunday, 6 June 2010 ago, some of KTI members who love cycling and domicile in Jakarta had a cycling time together at Ragunan Zoo, South Jakarta. This 'Cycling Together' is one of the event where in this year was planned to be included in the KTI activities to accommodate those who have other hobbies and activities beside automotive, especially in KTI Jaya chapter, where we believe are good, usefull and provide benefits for all of us. One of them is cycling together.

This cycling event was actually started some time ago, which was initiated by Ryco and supported by the other KTI Jaya colleagues. So does what we have this time at Ragunan zoo, where attended by 6 KTI members like Ryco, Yudhi, Henry Pancasila, Heddi and Rony Bambang.

Cycling in Ragunan zoo area was very fun and exciting. Beside there was long track, the atmosphere was also nice with the fresh air and shady trees which made us very excited and pleasant. Unfortunately we start this event a little bit late so we had to face so many zoo visitor along the track. And one other thing, that we could also enjoy to see all the animals inside the zoo.

We are planning to have this event to be a regular event, and try to find other interesting spot with nice and fun cycling tracks, so the event itself will be so comfortable and enjoyable.

KOPDAR Angkringan, Bogor, 5 June 2010

Starting in June 2010, KTI Jaya which covers Jakarta, Bogor and Bekasi are planning to do a Kopdar Roadshow from one city to another, in other to strengthen the bond of the relationship between each chapter under KTI Jaya. By involving some colleagues from other city like Bandung, Cilegon and even Cirebon, it is planned to be regularly held and in rotation so each town will have their opportunity to have the warmthness of the Kodar in their home town.

Beginning with the 'Rain city' Bogor, the Kopdar was held on Saturday, 5 June 2010 at a place called 'Angkringan Landy' in Yasmin, Bogor. Our colleagues from Jakarta, Bogor, Cibubur and even from Solo, participated in this event. The Kopdar which was called 'Kopdar Angkringan' was presented by more than 30 cars and more than 60 people, including kids. It was started at 20.00 pm until 23.30 pm. During this event, there were also some new member like Mr. Handoko from Cibubur and Mr. Yudha from Bogor. Mr. Yudha apparently is the brother of the Leader of KTI East Java, Mr. Widiyantoro.

This Kopdar was amazing. It was prepared by our KTI Bogor colleagues which was led by Adit, and it recalled the importance of a togetherness and relationship which has been existed until now for years. Each participant re-introduce theirself and their family during this gathering, especially to the new members.

This was also the first Kopdar ever held at night. At the beginning we have some doubts in the number of participants who were able to attend to this Kopdar...was it few and less then what we had expected? But it turned out wrong, because apparently most of our colleagues came and the amount were not even change a lot compare to the earlier Kopdars. It was incredible having these enthusiasm of our colleagues in KTI, because of this strong spirit the brotherhood are always exist and presented among the big family of Indonesia Trooper Community.

Thanks to our KTI Bogor colleagues for welcoming us in this great Kopdar.

West Java Adventure Off Road (WJAOR), 27-30 May 2010

West Java Off Road or WJAOR is the annual off road event where the initial purpose is to introduce the beauty of West Java landscape. Since 2004, Indonesian Trooper Community (KTI) started to participate in this event and never miss one single event, ever since. This year, KTI participated by sending out 3 teams which consist of 9 cars. Team 1 and 2 are all Troopers, while Team 3 is mixed between Trooper, Suzuki Jimny and Toyota Hi-Lux. The event was devided into 4 stages, Country Road (CR)1 to 3 and Trial Stage (TS). TS was consisted of 3 stages and to be able to participate in TS, participants were required to finish all the CRs.

KTI Team start to leave for Bandung city (The Capital city of West Java Province) on Wednesday, 26 May 2010 to have the scrutineering procedure. All tim members were in good shape and passed the scrutineering phase. Eventhough before they arrived in Bandung, some cars had some trouble during the journey such as broken shaft, differential problems and shock breaker mounting failure, but those problem could be overcome. The member of KTI Team were as follows:

TEAM 1: Irawan, Ragung and Mr. Tono (Mr. Tono then substituted by Jacky)

TEAM 2: Georgy, Rake and Agun

TEAM 3: Mr. Herawan, Didik and Welly

All KTI teams were ready and spent one night before starting the event on the next day. The opening ceremony of 2010 WJAOR were centered in 'Gedung Satay', the Center of Government building in Bandung, and with the total of 120 cars participants.

DAY 1: 27 May 2010

The event started at noon and all particpant were headed to CR-1. Since the beginning, all KTI member always moved in one line and in one group. They keep each other in a safe situation so when someone got trouble, they can give help in a minute. Muddy road and rocks were domonited the whole track path, but this gave no trouble nor problem to the KTI team. Some of "V-curve" obstacle and river path, were still considered as easy and can be overcome very easy.

During this stage, there were some traffic jam due to another participant's car which had some troubles, especially when the night came. The obstacle were also rapidly increased, including a narrow track and short vission during the night. Due to no exit passage provided along this track, therefore if one car had a problem and could not move or continue, the rest participant behind must wait until the recovery is completely done. During this CR-1, KTI team also recovered one participant that slipped over onto the rice field. At that time the other team mates were already ahead and could not turn back, and apparently KTI team were the next team that reach the location. We decided to recover this car since in KTI, we hold tight our motto "...Never Leave Friends Behind" and we are stick to it. After about 2 hours strugling with the condition, which required 5 lines to recover this car, KTI team finally able to put the car back on track.

The team reached the Base Camp 1 (BC 1) at about 9.45 am. And during the journey, KTI team always stick together no matter what, moving ahead in 9 cars while escorting the recovered car (which is apparently another Trooper from another team). Meanwhile at the base, the Logistic Team were already prepared the food and supplies. The logistic were ready at the BC 1 since last night, hoping that the team will be able to reach the base during the night. After reaching the BC 1, all team then rested and prepare of the next RC which started at 14.00 on DAY 2.

DAY 2 & 3: 28 - 29 May 2010

The team were ready at 14.00 and start the DC 2 at about 17.00 pm without knowing that this stage is like a long long way to run. The track actually was not that long, only 17,8 km away to reach the BC 2. But what made this RC special, was the road condition and the contour which made all the KTI tim suffered for the next 48 hours and more. If the weather was good we estimated that this track will lasted within 8 hours or so, but again, the problem is not only the weather but also the participant itself.

It started when one of participant had a trouble while climbing up an inclined terrain. It was stuck and could not be recovered by its team mates, but also broke its winch bracket. The recover lasted for hours because the track was even ruined due to rain, and made the KTI team to spent one night in RC 2. The next day were not that different and gave much problem to the team. Winch broken, engine trouble, etc...and it really made their day.

All KTI team reach the finish line and entered the BC2 at about 17.50 on DAY 3. It was really an amazing journey for all team members. Brotherhood and strong spirit has really been reflected during this journey. They start together and finish toghether, nobody left the other when they have trouble, and keep continuing the whole RC 2 track. We know there was other who skip/quit this stage and directly went to BC2 asking for points, but we are KTI and we shows the trully honest team spirit and responsibility which kept us survive. We don't care about points, what we really care is the brotherhood.

After they took some rest in BC 2, they prepared again to continue to BC3 which was about 76,88 km away. The track were not as bad as CR 2 and 80% was asphalt road, and the team was able to reach the BC3 at about 3.00 in the morning.

DAY 4: 30 May 2010
It was Sunday and the last day of the WJAOR event. After reaching the BC3, the whole KTI team took rest and prepare their cars for the next stage, the Trial Stage (TS), which consisted of 3 stages. After taking care all the administrative paperwork, the committee announce that the TS event were rescheduled and will be closed at 13.30 pm so team member who were very exhausted due to not sleeping and resting for more than 48 hours, decided to visit Mr. Zulkifli's villa, the Senior Member of KTI which is located not far from location to get better rest and clean up. This moment was also used for some of KTI members to gather in that place, to give support and share the joyness with the whole team member.

Fatigue and exhausted, made the plan changed. After cleaning up and having a soft pillow in their head, finally the team surrender to their phisycal condition and continue to rest and quit the TS stage. KTI team already gave their best effort, spirit and fight to strictly following the Competition regulation by doing the full track in RC1, RC2 and RC3, and never had any shortcuts like some other teams did.

Winning and points, were not important for us. What will be the most important things were the brotherhood, togetherness, always faithful and Never leave friends behind, Those are the core of our spirit. Indonesian Trooper Community was bulid on that foundation, and always be. WJAOR is one of the evidence, and like many other events before that. We start together.... and finish together, and because we are KTI.

Coverage: Paseban Camping - 8th Years of KTI, 22-23 May 2010

None of words can describe how beautifull this friendship and the spirit when we gathered together in the KTI Camping event in Bukit Pakis Paseban, West Java, on 22-23 May 2010. This event was held to celebrate the 8th years of Indonesian Trooper Community (KTI) which falls on 28 May 2010, and attended by more than 40 vehicles which consist of Troopers and other brands, and a total participant of more than 70 people including children and also the majority of the elders who have accompanied KTI during the last eight years. This event illustrates how strong the relationship of a family spirit that is formed, regardless of the vehicle type we use, but utilise the differences to make this bond in harmony.

We began the journey by firstly gathered at the meeting point at Sentul Rest Area. Initially the plan was to gather at 8.00 am and start to move to location at 9.00 am, but due to some delay so the groups started to depart at 9.30 am. After short briefing and some small pray, the group left with Ryco as the Team Leader and Ragung as a Sweeper, headed to Paseban by taking a route through the exit toll Sentul City and through the Rainbow Golf Sentul, mount Geulis, and exit at Puncak main road. This route was taken to avoid traffic jam that is normally occur during the weekend, at the end of the exit tol Ciawi towards Puncak mainroad. During the journey the group stopped several times to wait for the other colleagues who came late and tried to catch up while on the move. No significant obstacle during our journey to the next regrouping point which was at the junction of Puncak mainroad and Pesantren road. We stopped to buy some food for our luch pack before we continue the journey to Bukit Pakis Paseban.

The path to the location was varied with many long and high degree slopes that made several vehicles which don't have 4x4 were forced to be drag and towed so they could continue the trip. We also had an incident that happened to the Ryco's landy, driven by Ryan Kosasih. The landy slipped into a ditch and stuck, so it must be assisted by two vehicles in front and behind. Luckily that the Landy had a winch so it hooked up to front car and held also by the winch of the vehilce behind. With a good cooperation and assisstance of the other colleagues in location, the Landy was successfully recovered and able to contiune the trip. The path to Bukit Pakis Paseban is impossible to travell by normal vehicle without 4x4 capability where the contours reach almost 35-40 degree angle.

The group arrived on location at around 12.30 pm, which was over the schedule. All participants then immediately looked for the great spots to set their tent and gears. Bukit Pakis was indeed an amazing place with extraordinary sceneries. It offers a great landscape view of the citylights with mount Salak as the background. The atmosphere was really amazing...but unfortunatelly the weather was not friendly that day and covered with fog.

Finish setting up the camp and had some lunch, the event committee held some games for the Trooperkids (the children) wich were more or less 20 kids. Having the games in this great place made them very happy while enjoying the rest of the day in the open field. They were also very excited having this weekend by going camping with their parents.

In the evening we had the peak moment of this event. After all participants finished with their personnal preparation, we then started the main event. Equipped with a full sound system and also an LCD projector with big screen, the show started with a warm-hearted introduction of some new KTI members. Chaired by Yudhi, the Founding Father of KTI who open this small ceremony and with a flashback of the KTI history from the beginning until now. The stories of the KTI's past experiences where it strated from a mailing list and then transformed into a big community and spread all over Indonesia. The transformation started from the first Kopdar where the persons who attend the Kopdar are still exist in KTI until now, like Yudhi, Mr. and Mrs. Zulkifli and Mr. Nasiful, who were also attending this camping event. This flashback naration was delivered with some laughter and joke where the warm atmosphere give us some comfort and accompanied with the shower rain.

We had dinner together with all participants. Nice meals provided by the event committee and prepared by the ladies were so great, accompanied by some songs of the our talented colleagues, Alan Marton, who plays the solo keyboard while the other sang. This evening was ended by watching the 1st TIAOR movie together. Some colleagues spent this remarkable night by singing, chatting and laughing. This is one of the KTI's pride where evereything was coming from, prepared by and for KTI.

The morning after we have breakfast together and continued with some games for the kids and the adults. The kids had some colouring competition while the adults start the games led by the EO, Mr. Pras. Started with some light stretching but combined with some funny movements. Continue with some sports and games with some funny props which made us laughing to death. This was unforgettable moment for us because these warmth and togetherness are those that give strength to KTI to survive forever.

We end this lovely event by having some photos together. The participants then prepare themself and ready to go home. We left Bukit Pakis Paseban at 10.30 am and moved to regrouping point at the junction of Puncak mainroad and Pesantren road. Some of participants decided to have a culinary tour in Bogor before separate to each destination. The groupd then led by Adit, our KTI Bogor colleague, to have some lunch in Bogor. This opportunity was used as an inauguration for the new member by putting the Trooper Indonesia sticker on the their car so they are now a genuine family of KTI.
